NWA Veterans Home Poker Run set for June 16

The Northwest Arkansas Veterans Home Poker Run is set for this Saturday, June 16 at Agri Park just off Garland Avenue in Fayetteville.

A Posting of the Colors ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. Motorcycles will leave between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. The run is scheduled to stop at various memorials honoring veterans. According to the event’s website, the last bike in is at 2 p.m.

Cost is $10 per hand, which includes a lunch meal ticket. Additional meal tickets are $5 each. All are welcome to ride along on a motorcycle or drive any other vehicle.

Prizes include hotel stays, train rides, tools and more.

Proceeds will benefit the residents of the Fayetteville Veterans Home in Fayetteville with any items they may need.
