Botanical Garden of the Ozarks to host outdoor concert series

The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will begin a series of free outdoor concerts at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28 with the Jack Mitchell Big Band.

The Bella Vista-based band will perform a patriotic-themed program to kick off the Fourth of July holiday.

Two other concerts are planned for Aug. 23 with Still on the Hill, and on Oct. 11 with 3 Penny Acre.

The concerts are free and open to residents of all ages.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnics, but are not allowed to bring alcohol from home. Drinks will be available for purchase including beer, wine, soft drinks and water.

* Concerts are on Thursdays at 7 p.m.

      Agreed, nice poster. Planning to attend some of these Botanical Garden concerts.

      This Thursday happens to overlap with live music at Crystal Bridges up in Benton County, that coincidentally includes Still On The Hill and 3 Penny Acre.
