We haven’t been able to reach anyone for comment, but we thought we’d go ahead and note that there’s a “Larry’s Pizza Coming Soon” banner hanging on a building formerly home to Shake’s Frozen Custard at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and South Sang Avenue.
This would be the second Larry’s Pizza to give it a go here. The company operated a restaurant for a short time in north Fayetteville a few years ago.
Larry’s Pizza is owned, operated and franchised by Larry White, who opened his first location in Little Rock in 1992.
According to their website, the restaurant chain currently operates 17 locations in Arkansas.
Larrys pizza should do pretty well near the University but a place like that will never make it in North Fayetteville. Im glad they are giving Fayetteville a second chance and trying a different location in the city.
This Larry’s Pizza will be a pick up and delivery. Same great Pizza brought to your door or come through the pickup window. It should be open by September 1st.
