Another day, another social media show announcement from the Arkansas Music Pavilion.

Country star Alan Jackson is set to perform at the AMP on Friday, Sept. 14.

The news came in a Monday morning Facebook post. It’s the second social media show announcement in the past few days. Officials on Friday announced an Oct. 16 performance by The Avett Brothers via Twitter.

Jackson, who learned a lot about livin’ and a little ’bout love during visits to the Chattahoochee, has recorded 35 No. 1 hits and is the recipient of 2 Grammys, 16 CMA Awards and 17 ACM Awards.

Tickets, ranging from $34.50 to $102, go on sale Friday, July 13 through the Walton Arts Center box office.

Gates are set to open at 6 p.m. and music should start at around 7:30 p.m. Officials said no openers are scheduled at this time.
