Meet Mia, a 4-year-old black and brown Tabby kitty

This week’s featured pets available at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter are Mia, a 4-year-old black and brown Tabby kitty, and Plato, a 2-year-old Blue Heeler/Shepherd mix.

The upcoming Fayetteville Roots Festival a great thing for Fayetteville, and an even greater thing for Flyer readers because we’ve got festival passes to give away to some of you. Try to win them.

Fayetteville artist Sarah Leflar, in association with University of Arkansas Student Gallery (also known as sUgAR), is planning a one-night pop-up art exhibition entitled “Black Hearts” in Leflar’s south Fayetteville studio from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, July 28.

Joe Adams’ electrifying play that helped propel the Razorback football team to a 49-7 win over Tennessee last year is one of four finalists in an online voting competition for an ESPY Best Play award. Vote for Joe!
