Cory Branan, the Nashville songwriter who once lived in an apartment across the street from the Castle at Wilson Park, is back in town tonight for a show at George’s Majestic Lounge. Tickets are $10, show starts at 9 p.m.

Today’s special meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has been cancelled. The group will instead meet on Monday, Aug. 6 inside City Hall room 111.

Tom Green and Bobcat Goldthwait will headline the fall comedy season at UARK Bowl.

The next Cash Mob Fayetteville event will benefit Lauren Embree Jewelry and Greenhouse Grille this Saturday.
