The Fayetteville Public Library will host a free Native American genealogy workshop on Saturday.

In a memo sent to Fayetteville A&P commissioners, City Attorney Kit Williams urged the group to obtain a formal attorney general opinion on the legality of contributing $1 million in A&P funds to the University of Arkansas.

Fayetteville police arrested two men in connection with a reported robbery on Frisco Trail near the Maple Street crossing early Wednesday morning.

Organizers of a new litter prevention group called Keep Fayetteville Beautiful are asking for the community’s help in establishing a local brand using a logo contest.

The Fayetteville Public Library and the Washington County Arkansas Genealogical Society will present a free workshop, Native American Genealogy with Gene Norris, at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21 in the library’s Walker Community Room.
