Pets of the Week

Pets of the week: Nala and Hunter

Nala

Photos: Todd Gill, Flyer staff

Meet Nala, a 2-year-old blonde Shepherd who would love to be your companion. Nala looked like she might be a shy dog in the photo posted on her kennel at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter, but when we found her playing outside, she wasn’t shy at all. Nala was friendly and got along great with her buddy who was playing around with her in the outdoor run. She posed a lot, too, which is always fun.

Hunter

Hunter is the first kitten we’ve featured here on the Flyer, but he was having so much fun in his hammock that we couldn’t resist stopping for a photo. Hunter is a 2-month-old grey Tabby with black stripes and is sharing a cage with a few very similar looking kittens (likely his siblings) who would also make a great addition to your family.

If you are interested in meeting either of this week’s featured pets or any of the other wonderful animals at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter, call 444-3456 or stop by the shelter during adoption hours at 1640 S. Armstrong Avenue.

Thanks for remembering the Kitties! A much larger percentage of them don’t make it out of the shelter so what you have done is wonderful!
