News Briefs

One of the highlights of the newly completed Meadow Valley Trail is a 270-foot tunnel under Garland Avenue that stretches from Agri Park to the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Arena near the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Construction is finally complete on Meadow Valley Trail, one of the most highly anticipated trail connections in Fayetteville. The new path runs west from Scull Creek Trail to Porter Road near the Interstate 540 interchange, providing a link between the backbone of the city’s trail system and the neighborhoods to the west of I-540.

William Chesser, a Fayetteville planning commissioner and high school teacher, is the fifth person to publicly announce plans to replace departing City Council member Sarah Lewis, entering the race for Ward 4 in the Nov. 6 election.

A group of local musicians have teamed up for a one-night-only Kiss tribute concert set for Saturday, July 28 at the Lightbulb Club on Block Avenue.

Please help us welcome CMI Construction as the newest Flyer Sponsor. CMI specializes in projects of all sizes and has completed hundreds of successful remodeling, restoration, commercial, and residential construction projects all over Northwest Arkansas.
