Dangerous temperatures expected this week in Fayetteville

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory and a hazardous weather outlook for parts of western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

Temperatures of around 105 are expected in Fayetteville with heat index values reaching 108 on Tuesday.

The heat wave is expected to last at least through Thursday, with only slight cooling forecast for the upcoming weekend.
