This giveaway is now closed. We’ll choose a winner shortly.

Famed comedy school Second City is touring with a new show entitled “Second City for President,” and while we’re not sure how that works constitutionally-speaking (can a comedy school run for president?), we’re glad to see that Fayetteville is on the list of tour stops.

If you’re not familiar, Second City is the comedy school and funny-person factory that has produced the likes of John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Horatio Sanz, and countless others.

Their new show features a crop of up-and-coming comedy stars, and promises to “dole out laughter at the expense of both sides of the aisle,” in a new show self-described as “unpolitical, uncensored and unabashedly hilarious.”

As it happens, at least two of you will be able to judge that for yourselves. We’ve got two pair of tickets to give away to the 9 p.m. show on Aug. 18 at Walton Arts Center.

How to enter

We’ve done giveaways on two Second City shows in the past, and both times we’ve used the same entry criteria.

It’s just so fun to talk about, however, that we’re doing it again. To enter, leave a comment with your favorite alumni member from the Second City ( here’s a list).

What you’ll win

Two (2) lucky winners will each win two (2) tickets to the 9 p.m. performance on Saturday, Aug. 18 of Second City for President at the Walton Arts Center.
