East Center Street, which serves as the entryway to the downtown square, will soon receive a makeover which includes new sidewalks, street lights and street trees.

Street Committee members agreed Tuesday to seek more public input and to make sure building owners were aware of the proposed changes to the sidewalks on Center Street before moving forward.

There’s a new food trailer called Hawaiian Brian’s at the Yacht Club on College, a mobile vendor park located at Trenton Street and College Avenue in Fayetteville.

Business and community leaders in Northwest Arkansas yesterday launched a marketing campaign aimed at attracting new businesses and professionals to the region.

This week’s featured pets include Mr. Sweets, a 2-year-old Coonhound/Shar-Pei and Sassafrassa, a shy, sweet kitty. Both are available for adoption at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter
