Fayetteville Roots Festival offers Friday night ticket special for UA students

Good news, University of Arkansas students.

If you were hoping to see David Grisman, The Steel Wheels, Hoots and Hellmouth, or any of the other artists on the Friday night Fayetteville Roots Festival lineup at the Walton Arts Center, you’re in luck. Organizers announced today they’ll offer $20 balcony tickets for UA students.

The special only applies to the Friday night WAC performances, and includes access to music on the Roots and Branches Stage on Tyson Plaza, the Fayetteville Listening Room stage in McBride Studios, the Starr Theater Stages, and the Main Stage (see the full lineups below).

To purchase the $20 tickets, visit the Walton Arts Center box office, or give them a call at 479-443-5600.

Roots and Branches Stage
Location: Tyson Plaza (Walton Arts Center), 495 West Dickson Street
3 p.m. – Shore and Cockram
3:40 p.m. – Matt and Gus Smith
4:25 p.m. – Chad Elliott
5:10 p.m. – Fork and Knife

Fayetteville Listening Room
Location: McBride Studio (Walton Arts Center), 495 West Dickson Street
2 p.m. – Clark Bueling Trio

3:40 p.m. Old 78′s
4:30 p.m. Ben Bedford
5:20 p.m. – Shannon Wurst Band

Star Theater
