After a hugely successful benefit for local artist Eugene Sargent back in July, some more of his friends are getting into the act this month.

This time, locals Cary Arsaga and Jamey Hall are planning a benefit featuring “cajun-punk” Zydeco band Lost Bayou Ramblers at George’s tonight (Tuesday, Aug. 28).

The show starts at 7 p.m., the cover is $10, and the proceeds of the event will go to help defray medical costs associated with Sargent’s recent Lymphoma diagnosis.

For a bit more information, check out the Facebook page for the event.
