It’s been a busy week for the Razorbacks.

The football team is preparing for the season opener against Jacksonville State on Saturday, and athletic department just launched a new website design and a new iPhone app designed to help fans follow the Hogs this season.

Department officials announced the redesigned website on Monday, which features “easier site navigation, access to more current stories on the front page and quick links to several social media options.” The new site also features a larger video viewing window, a schedule of upcoming live-blogs, and other improvements.

The new iPhone app is a replacement for the iHog application released in 2009. According to a press release, the free app “gives fans access to news, schedule, scores, rosters and bios, live stats, photos, facilities, Twitter feeds and a game day page.” A $2.99 version of the app comes with access to on-demand video, including press conferences, as well as live audio with a RazorVision subscription.

An iPad app is expected to launch in a few weeks.
