This giveaway is now closed. Congrats to the winners, Tracy and Jessie.
They drum. They dance. They’re Stomp, and they’re coming to the Walton Arts Center for a series of shows Sept. 7-9.
For those who aren’t familiar, Stomp is an eight-member troupe of drumming freaks that use everything but conventional drums to create incredible rhythmic soundscapes combined with stimulating movement and visual comedy.
In other words, it’s possibly the coolest drum circle you’ve ever seen. Plus jokes.
We happen to have two pairs of tickets to giveaway to the opening night performance. Try to win them.
How to enter
Stomp is the second show in Walton Arts Center’s 2012 season, and considering TheatreSquared is kicking off their season this weekend, the football Hogs are in town, and the students are back at the UA, Fayetteville is reaching what we consider to be near full bloom right now.
Leave a comment below telling us your favorite thing about fall in Fayetteville, and you’re entered.

Best part of fall in Fayetteville, besides the sound of the crowd calling the Higs at Reynolds Stadium, would be the leaves of the trees. There is nothing more beautiful then the red, orange and yellow leaves that blanket the yards and streets of Fayetteville. Oh and the weather! You can’t get more perfect then fall in the hills if Fayetteville!

Halloween in the historic district. Not only is it the best weather for sitting out on the porch, but It’s like my favorite holiday still exists like it does in a TV special.

Orginally from Canada, I never got to experience fall football season and now, it is my favorite time of year! That, alongside with the beauty of Fay in the fall makes this city a great place to be :)

The colors!
The beautiful trees & hiking in the Ozarks.
School being back in session causes such great support to any event. Add that to the high quality of people in the community and even going to the mall is entertaining this time of year.
Sure the leaves and weather are at their best, and Football is incredible, but I vote the people as my favorite in the fall.
Just rattling off a few other great things…
Corn Maze, Ferrari’s at Crystal Bridges on the 7th, craft fairs everywhere, BBB, SoNA, etc…
It’s got to be football games, surrounded by tailgating, leaves changing, and cooler weather…especially this year.
The way the trees on my street turn all shades of red and gold and that crisp smell in the air that tells you that winter is coming. Fayetteville is stunning in the Fall.
