Meet Narcissa, a 4-month-old, white and tan Labrador Retriever mix pup who needs a new home.

This week’s featured pets available at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter are Narcissa the dog and Captain Awesome the awesome cat.

Too Cool, a new frozen yogurt shop, recently opened off Wedington Drive in Fayetteville (in the back of the Hunan Manor building).

The 3rd annual Stepping Up the Pace with Parkinson’s Walk/Run is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Pat Walker Center for Seniors in Fayetteville.

Award-winning director Kevin McKinney will be in Fayetteville for a screening of his 2012 film, Corporate FM this weekend.

The 2012 Offshoot Film Festival lineup announcement is coming this weekend as well.

    Conspirator at George’s tonite.. sick band combining electronica with dance jam rock instruments. Includes the bass player and keyboards from The Disco Biscuits.

    Also, Corporate FM movie screening on Friday at OMNI supporting the formation of a new Fayetteville Community Radio Station, looks great to me.
