Startup Crawl to visit downtown businesses Wednesday

You’ve heard of a pub crawl. Last spring there was a ‘pup crawl’ in Fayetteville (a pub crawl for dogs). Now, some local entrepreneurs hope to introduce Fayetteville to a new kind of crawling experience.

The Northwest Arkansas Entrepreneurship Alliance has organized the first ever “Start Up” crawl, set for tonight (Sept. 19) at various locations in downtown Fayetteville.

The idea is to introduce some interested young entrepreneurs to some successful local folks who’ve recently gone through the process of starting a business, while also providing some exposure to the new businesses. A third objective is to have a bit of fun on a Wednesday night.

The crawl starts at 6 p.m. at EquityNet, located at 5 W. Mountain Street, and will visit seven local businesses at five locations before ending at an after party at the Lightbulb Club at 9 p.m.

Tonight’s event is sold out, but organizers say those interested in meeting up with the group are welcome at the after party at The Lightbulb Club.

The full start up crawl schedule is below. Happy crawling.
