The folks at the Arkansas Music Pavilion may have saved their best show for (almost) last in 2012.
North Carolina-based band The Avett Brothers are the second-to-last show on the venue’s calendar for the season, and if their performance at Wakarusa this summer is any indication, they’re going to blow some folks’ minds at the Oct. 16 show in Fayetteville.
In other words, they’re a really, really good live band. Trust us.
If you haven’t seen them, or if you want to see them again, you could be in luck. We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to the show. Try to win ‘em!
How to enter
It’s been a while since we’ve asked the Flyer community for new music recommendations, and you guys (at least historically) have really good taste in music. Leave a comment below telling us a band or artist that you’ve been listening to lately, and you’re entered.
What you’ll win
One lucky winner will win two (2) tickets each to the Tuesday, Oct. 16 performance by The Avett Brothers at the Arkansas Music Pavilion.
A few rules (read ‘em carefully):
- You may only enter this specific contest once.
- This contest is open to anyone anywhere except Fayetteville Flyer writers, Walton Arts Center employees, Arkansas Music Pavilion employees, and their immediate family members.
- Contest is open until 12 p.m. CST on Friday, Oct. 5
Make sure you leave a valid e-mail address when filling out the comment form since that’s how we’ll contact you if you’ve won. Once we notify the winners, you’ll have 24 hours to respond via email to claim your prize. - You’ll have to provide us with your first and last name (if you win) and then be prepared to show a valid photo ID when picking up your tickets.
