Constantina

Meet Constantina, a 5-year-old, tri-colored Rat Terrier who needs a new home. We spotted her taking a nap under a tree while the other dogs ran back and forth playing with each other. Once we got inside the fence, she woke up and posed for a few photos, but was still super chilled out, despite how excited her kennel mate was that we’d come to hang out. In other words, Constantina would make a great addition to a family, even one that already had pets.

Spirit

Spirit is a 10-month-old black Domestic Shorthair kitty who’s ready for Halloween. He, too, was taking a nap when we walked by the cat room, but as soon as we noticed his bandana, we knew we’d found our featured cat for the week. Besides good style, he’s got a great attitude. He was very friendly and didn’t get spooked by our camera lens. The volunteers at the shelter said he’s really good around other cats and that he loves attention. That’s a good sign. Don’t believe what they say about black cats. Spirit is a keeper.
