Reminder: 2012 voter registration deadline is today, Oct. 9

Fayetteville residents have until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 to register to vote in the Nov. 6, 2012 general election.

Voters may register in person at the County Clerk’s office located on the third floor of the Washington County Courthouse at 280 N. College Ave. in Fayetteville. County residents may also register by downloading a voter registration form and mailing it to the County Clerk’s office. Send the registration form, postmarked no later than Oct. 9, 2012, to:

Early voting begins Monday Oct. 22, and election day is Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.
