Preschool Storytime at the Fayetteville Public Library had a special guest reader today. Mayor Lioneld Jordan read some of his favorite childhood books with the children in attendance.

Planning commissioners on Monday unanimously approved a conditional use permit for a community recycling drop-off facility on the south side of North Street near Scull Creek Trail.
