The roughly 0.2-acre St. Joseph Park is now open at 311 E. Lafayette St. on the grounds of the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church campus.

City officials will hold a kickoff meeting for the Wedington Corridor Plan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Fayetteville Boys & Girls Club.

The 2012 Lights of the Ozarks season runs from Nov. 17 through the end of the year on the Fayetteville downtown square.

The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) recently announced the addition of two new staff members.

Four new officers with the Fayetteville Police Department recently graduated from the Northwest Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy, it was announced last week.

Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson passed for 372 yards and a career-high five touchdowns to lead the Hogs to a 49-7 win over Kentucky in a game that was ended in the third quarter due to severe weather.
