Update: See new information below for ticket details.

The Flaming Lips are headed to Fayetteville for a Sunday, Nov. 4 show at Barnhill Arena on the University of Arkansas campus.

The concert is another from the UA Office of Student Activities’ Headliner Concerts Committee, the same group responsible for bringing in Kid Cudi, Foo Fighters, John Mayer, The Roots, and others.

As usual, a limited amount of free tickets will be given to UA students as part of their pre-paid student fees. Public tickets information, including pricing, has not yet been announced.

Officials are instructing students to check the committee’s website at osa.uark.edu on Monday, Oct. 22 for a ticket announcement.

We’ll post more info when we have it.

Updated ticket info

Currently enrolled students at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, can obtain free tickets in a two-step process:

  1. Starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, students can reserve one free ticket online at osa.uark.edu, where they will find instructions to reserve tickets. Student online reservations will be open until Saturday, Oct. 27, at midnight.
  2. Students who reserved tickets can pick them up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Arkansas Union Connections Lounge on Monday, Oct. 29, and Tuesday, Oct. 30, and in the Union Living Room Lounge (where the fireplace is located) on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Students must present their valid University of Arkansas student ID in order to pick up their ticket (ID will be scanned). Only one ticket is allowed per University of Arkansas student ID. Students can pick up their one free ticket and may present another valid student ID to pick up another student’s reserved ticket. Both tickets must be reserved through the online process described above.

The general public may purchase tickets starting at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, from the Walton Arts Center website, Public tickets will cost $35 for general admission seats.
