The first Fayetteville School Board zone meeting of the 2012-13 school year is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 in the McNair Middle School cafeteria.
The meeting is for patrons of FPS Zone 1, but any district patron is welcome to attend, said Alan Wilbourn, the district’s public information officer.
The purpose of zone meetings is to provide an opportunity for conversations between school board members and district patrons. Zone 1 is represented by board member Steve Percival.
Other zones will be scheduled in the coming months.
