The Friends of the Fayetteville Public Library will host their ‘largest book sale ever‘ from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 10 at the library’s Rock Street garage entrance.

While Arkansas voters clearly prefer Romney to Obama, poll numbers for two ballot measures – a half-cent sales tax for highways and legalization of medical marijuana – are too close to call.

A new community outreach coordinator began work with the city Oct. 29. Communications Director Lindsley Smith hired Dede Peters earlier this month.

The University of Arkansas men’s basketball team is set to host the annual Red-White game tonight at 7 p.m. inside Bud Walton Arena.

A free public screening of the documentary film that chronicles the development of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 inside the museum’s Great Hall.

The Jones Center for Families and local non-profit EcoPotential NGO will host the Tread Lightly 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Jones Center, 22 E. Emma Ave. in Springdale.
