As usual, the Fayetteville downtown square was packed for the annual Trick or Treat on the Square event Wednesday afternoon. Here are some photos.

Over 20 local artists will exhibit new Halloween-themed artwork during a special show tonight at Nightbird Books. The “Fright Night at Nightbird” event will include visual work for sale, live music by DJs Reynolds Sharp and Brantley Saylor, as well as an audio art installment by local musician Brian Abel.

Mayor Lioneld Jordan, Ward 2 Alderman Matthew Petty and Ward 4 City Council hopeful Alan Long have so far raised the most money in their respective municipal races this season, according to campaign contribution and expenditure reports filed this week.

Shrek: The Musical is showing at the Walton Art Center through Nov. 4. Here’s a review.

Country music fans, do a little line-dance at your desk. Little Big Town is coming to Fayetteville.
