The next regular meeting of the Fayetteville City Council has been moved from Tuesday Nov. 6 to Thursday, Nov. 8.
The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. inside room 219 of Fayetteville City Hall, 113 W. Mountain Street.
The city’s rules of order and procedure state that when a holiday or general election occurs on any regular Tuesday meeting of the City Council, the meeting shall be held on the following Thursday.
Also, the Street Committee meeting scheduled for Nov. 6 has been canceled. According to city engineer Chris Brown, the meeting will be rescheduled at a later date.
