Over 70,000 ballots were cast in Washington County for the 2012 general election, and with 97 percent of the precincts reporting, the unofficial results were released just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Inside the above linked post, we also have the full (unofficial) Washington County election results which were released very, very early this morning.

For anyone interested in looking behind the scenes of the vote-counting process, we posted some photos from inside the election headquarters at the Washington County Courthouse last night.

A group of filmmakers finished shooting a movie in Fayetteville last month called Gordon Family Tree. A teaser trailer was released last week on YouTube.
