Yvonne Richardson Community Center to celebrate 16 years of community service

The Yvonne Richardson Community Center will celebrate their Sweet 16 next week.

The center will host a party on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 5-7 p.m. in honor of 16 years of service to the community, and will include free food, drinks, games, entertainment, and other family oriented activites.

The Yvonne Richardson Center, built in 1996 and named in memory of former Razorback basketball coach Nolan Richardson’s late daughter, hosts a variety of community-oriented programs, including youth sports camps, youth gardening, and several others.

The Sweet 16 celebration is free to attend and open to the public. For more information about the event, call director Tenisha Gist at 479-444-3461.
