Led by Coty Clarke’s 20 points, the Arkansas basketball team picked up its 18th consecutive season opening win on Friday night as the Razorbacks defeated Sam Houston State, 73-68, at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville.

The Hogs have performed well versus South Carolina, historically, however. The Hogs lead the series 13-7 all time, and have won the last three match-ups with the Gamecocks.
