Santa Claus is coming to the Northwest Arkansas Mall Nov. 16

If there’s one guy we don’t envy this time of year, it’s old Santa Claus.

Not only does the poor soul have to supervise factories full of elves making iPad Minis, Barbie Jeeps, and Xboxes around the clock from now until Christmas Eve, but he also has to make public appearances at parades all over the world, and sit in every mall in America simultaneously to have his photo taken and to hear about what every kid in the world wants for Christmas.

Plus there’s the whole “keeping up with whether or not every kid in the world is naughty or nice” thing. It must be exhausting. Good thing that dude is magic.

Old Santa will be in Fayetteville on Friday, Nov. 16, where he will make his debut appearance at the Northwest Arkansas Mall food court beginning at 7 p.m.

After that, Mr. Claus will be at the mall Monday through Saturday each week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (with a break from 3-4 p.m.), and on Sunday from noon until 6 p.m. (with a break from 3-3:30 p.m.)

In advance of Santa’s arrival at the mall on Saturday, Westside Dance Studio will perform the ballet “The Nutcracker” at 6 p.m., and there will also be a reading of “The Night Before Christmas” for kids in attendance.

If you stop by the mall this season, be nice to Santa, kids. And don’t pull his beard. He’s got a really busy month ahead.
