News Briefs

The Razorback basketball team had a great weekend with the signing of two highly ranked recruits and a 112-63 routing of Longwood. (more photos here)

Foghorn’s Wings will soon move from its original location on College Avenue to a larger space just down the road. Restaurant owner Jeff Hodges has purchased a building at 1815 N. Green Acres Road (formerly Mermaids), and plans to renovate the space in time to move sometime this Spring.

Get ready for a short week, thanks to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. There are no public meetings scheduled on either Thursday or Friday. Here’s the full list.

It was a big weekend for the Arkansas basketball team. Head coach Mike Anderson signed Bobby Portis and Moses Kingsley, two players who will help bring much-needed size to the 2013 class.

The hoops Hogs also toppled Longwood 112-63 in their first 100-point regular season game since 2009.

The Arkansas football team wasn’t so fortunate this weekend. The Razorbacks suffered a 45-14 blowout loss to Mississippi State ending their hopes for a bowl game this season.
