The church is still on Third and Elm– only now it is called the First United Methodist Church. The congregation has made several important restorations and renovations to the property– including a full refurbishment of the stained glass in the sanctuary. I swore a long time ago that I’d never darken the door of a church, but I’ve been to a couple of funeral services there. They’ve done a good job.
