Polls opened at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday for the Ward 4 Fayetteville City Council runoff election. Polling locations will remain open until 7:30 p.m.

The Ward 4 runoff race was set after Alan Long and Mike Emery emerged as the two top contenders during the Nov. 6 general election. Unofficial results showed Long with 1,943 votes (37 percent) to Emery’s 1,159 (22 percent).

Only registered voters in Ward 4 may cast ballots.

Voters can check their voter registration information by using the Arkansas Secretary of State’s Voter View website at voterview.ar-nova.org (mobile version here). The site also includes previews of election day ballots for each voter district.
