The inaugural Thunder on the Mountain country music and camping festival will include performances by Toby Keith, Luke Bryan, Big & Rich, Montgomery Gentry and many more.

The news came Wednesday morning in a lineup announcement posted on Facebook.

The first-year event is scheduled for June 6-8 on Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Arkansas.

Similar to the Wakarusa and Harvest festivals which also take place on Mulberry Mountain, Thunder on the Mountain is a multi-day event with music planned on several stages around the site.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11. We’ll update pricing information as soon as it’s available.

I hope some people get the dates mixed up with Wakarusa. The look of confused terror on the face of a Toby Keith fan in the midst of a Waka Saturday night freak show would be priceless!

The music scene in Arkansas is growing! This is a great line up. Great work to those putting this on. I hope it’s a success!!! Lets pray for good weather.
