The Arkansas Razorback Red Ryder BB gun

Photo courtesy of the Rogers Daisy Airgun Museum

Just when you think your collection of Arkansas gear is complete, Daisy goes and releases an Arkansas Razorback Red Ryder BB gun.

Yes, the fully-functional, lever action, 650-shot Daisy Red Ryder carbine has an image of the Razorback laser engraved into the left side of the wooden stock.

The gun was released on Tuesday, which means had we been paying closer attention, we’d have noticed it was clearly a clue as to who the new Arkansas head football coach was going to be.

The new coach’s (Bret Bieleman) initials are “BB.” D’oh!

From the Daisy site:

As a long-standing member of the Northwest Arkansas business community, Daisy is proud to offer this gun which recognizes the significant impact Razorback sports have on this region. We are confident that this collectible Razorback Daisy BB gun will be a unique source of pride for alumni, Hog fans and Daisy collectors everywhere.

The gun costs $59.95 with an option to have a custom name laser engraved for an extra $19.95.

Pick one up at the Rogers Daisy Airgun Museum, 202 W. Walnut in Rogers, or online at shop.daisymuseum.com.
