Four Fayetteville businesses, including three in the city’s entertainment district, were closed over the weekend due to apparent non-payment of sales tax.

Dickson Street Inn manager Hannah Mills resigned from her position on Monday after nearly two years of service as a member of the volunteer group. Her resignation is effective immediately.

Tickets for the inaugural Thunder on the Mountain country music and camping festival went on sale Tuesday. The festival, set for June 6-8 on Mulberry Mountain, will include performances by Toby Keith, Luke Bryan, Big & Rich, Montgomery Gentry and many more.

Head Razorback football coach Bret Bielema has made the first major hire of his Arkansas career. Bielema on Tuesday announced that Chris Ash, who led the defense for him at Wisconsin, was hired as Defensive Coordinator at Arkansas this week.
