Wakarusa officials recently posted a promotional teaser video on Facebook announcing the release dates of the 2013 festival lineup.

The video follows a sasquatch around Mulberry Mountain who, apparently, is anxiously awaiting the upcoming camping and music festival, set for Thursday, May 30 through Sunday, June 2. Near the end of the two-minute video, the sasquatch stumbles upon a sign which indicates the 2013 lineup will be announced on Facebook in three rounds beginning Monday, Jan. 3.

Rounds two and three are set for Jan. 10 and Jan. 17.

The format is similar to the 2012 lineup announcements. Round one included Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, round two added Primus, and the final round announced headliners The Avett Brothers.

The big question here is whether the sasquatch has any significance in the teaser video. Could this year’s lineup include any of the headliners from the 2012 Sasquatch Music Festival or was the costume just something the production crew already had laying around?
