Christmas tree pickup continues through January in Fayetteville

Staff photo

Fayetteville residents can place live Christmas trees on the curb next to their trash carts to be picked up by the city for composting throughout the month of January.

Trash pickup for residents and businesses will be delayed one day in Fayetteville this week due to the New Year’s Day holiday.

The list of public meetings is short this week, but does include a meeting of the Fayetteville City Council on Thursday.

In his latest pet column, Bill McQuade answers the question, “Should I or should I not feed my dog table scraps?”
