“Mitchell Communications Group has built an exceptional reputation as a thriving midsize firm in the public relations industry for its work with some of the most iconic national and global brands,” said Tim Andree, Dentsu CEO. “By acquiring Mitchell Communications, we intend to build out a full-service offering to benefit Dentsu clients globally that now includes public relations.”

Mitchell Communications Group, founded by Fayetteville resident Elise Mitchell in 1995, has an impressive client roster that includes Walmart Stores, Sam’s Club, J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Tyson Foods, Southwestern Energy, Hilton Hotels, and others.

Elise Mitchell will continue her role at Mitchell Communications Group, and will also join the Dentsu executive and operating committee.

Mitchell said the company will continue to be headquartered in Fayetteville.

“Mitchell will remain Mitchell, and we’re very excited about that,” she said. “We will retain our values, our brand, our team, our culture, and our beloved home here in Fayetteville.”

The agency has annual gross revenues of more than $13 million, with 75 full-time employees in addition to a national network of more than 20 project employees located in 14 states.
