Mitchell Communications Group is located at 2 N. College Ave. in downtown Fayetteville.

Fayetteville-based public relations firm Mitchell Communications Group, which has 75 full-time employees, has been sold to Dentsu Network of Japan. Officials said the plan is to keep the company based in Fayetteville.

Our Northwest Arkansas trail series continued over the weekend with reviews of Mt. Sequoyah Woods Trail and Lake Sequoyah Trail.

This week’s scheduled public meetings include a City Council agenda-setting session, the Fayetteville Arts Council and more.

The Arkansas basketball team beat Delaware State 86-51 during the final game of the non-conference season on Saturday night. The Hogs begin SEC play Wednesday at Texas A&M.
