Langhorne Slim and Delta Rae comin’ back to Mulberry, on lineup #3. Festival is going to be a blast, as usual.

Snoop was Snoop Dogg last time he played in Fayetteville at Barnhill right? Pre-Snoop Lion.

This just in: Wakarusa 2014 to feature Umphreys Magee, STS9, and something related to Chris Robinson. And 2015…and 2016. Yawn.

Another great, eclectic mashup of very talented artists to grace our mountain.

Ingsoc, stay tuned for the Febuary 9th SNL… Host and Musical Guest should be right up your alley.

Beiber? At least it’d be fresh. Some of these bands just seem to repeat too often. Some actively touring acts I was hoping we might see, acts that haven’t already played Wakarusa. Neil Young, Jack White, Wilco..Alt-j all come to mind. Still, I’m excited for some parts of the lineup.

So you’re saying, “SO EXCITE, MUST SHOW DISTAIN”?

The three headliners have each played in Fayetteville within the last couple of years. That’s dumb! If Wakarusa wants my money, they will have to bring some new and bombastic headliners. Otherwise I’m just walking in like I always do.

Dispatch has been on hiatus for 10 years (per the newspaper); Amon Tobin has not played here AFIK; Of Monsters And Men is a new international breakout that hasn’t played here, right. WSP and Crowes are back, both last played around here in 2010 which will make 3 years ago.

The undercard is where it’s at anyway. Discover some new music. Of 111 bands listed above, I count about half who have never played here.

I hope Waka doesnt go all ‘Roo on us with scanable wristbands…

that cutting sewing wristband ends move is about done for. Might need to invest in a portable scanner/printer and take over the counterfeit press pass biz.

      I just said too much!
