After 18 months in business, Legacy Blues will hold its final shows this weekend.

The club’s owners on Friday announced that the restaurant has been sold to the group behind Table Mesa in Bentonville, and that the new owners will take the restaurant in a different direction.

“It’s an excellent group, and we’re certain there are tremendous things in store for future patrons,” the announcement stated.

Final shows include Keith Nicholson Trio on Jan. 18, and Jet420 on Jan. 19.

“Thanks to the many musicians who graced our stage,” the owners posted via the club’s Facebook page Friday. “Northwest Arkansas is truly blessed by a tremendous music scene for which we’re grateful, and look forward to continue experiencing in the audience on Saturday nights to come, in other venues.”

Bummer, man. This is the hands-down best burger in town, epic cheese dip and fried jalapenos that are just… I can’t even describe them. Happy trails to all!

That cheese dip was indeed killer. Always sad to see a venue close.

Sad to see another blues stage go. Thanks for hosting the live music there. Wonder if the new plans will retain the stage? Good luck in your future ventures.

At least reassuring that the table Mesa people are picking up the spot. Yum!
