News Briefs

Police displayed 54 pounds of marijuana and $1,100 in cash during a news conference Tuesday at the Fayetteville Police Department.

We’ve noticed several new restaurants that have either opened, or are preparing to open in Fayetteville over the next few weeks. Here’s a brief overview.

As expected, Fayetteville was named a Volunteer Community of the Year for the fourth consecutive time.

Police seized 54 pounds of marijuana and arrested two men on drug charges following a traffic stop on Hwy. 412 on Sunday.

The Arkansas men’s basketball team takes on Mississippi State tonight at 8 p.m. inside Bud Walton Arena. For those without tickets, the game will be televised by CSS Sports.
