The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce will host the first in a series of forums with area legislators at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

State Rep. David Whitaker, Sen. Uvalde Lindsey, and Sen. Jim Hendren are confirmed participants in the session, and others could be on hand to update the community on current legislative and policy issues from the 89th General Assembly.

A question-and-answer session with the legislators is included in the program.

Future forums are scheduled on Feb. 8, Feb. 22, March 8, March 22, and April 5.

Each forum is free and open to the public.

The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is located at 123 W. Mountain St. just off the downtown square.
