Painting with a Twist will host “Painting with a Purpose” on Saturday, Feb. 24 as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

The event is being organized in memory of owner Susan Jean’s father, who passed way last February of stomach cancer.

Susan said the purpose of the event goes beyond that, however. “It is really for all of us who has lost someone to cancer,” she said. “Also, we want celebrate the ones who made it through and are still with us. Join us to have a good time and raise money for a good cause.”

Classes are scheduled at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The cost ranges from $35-45 each, and include all the necessary supplies for you to create your own masterpiece.

At the end of the night, half of the class fees and 100% of the proceeds from a silent auction held that night will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Painting with a Twist is located at 1404 N College Ave, inside Evelyn Hills Shopping Center in Fayetteville. For more information, call (479) 966-4222.
