The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for most of Northwest Arkansas, to remain in effect through noon on Thursday.
Snow is already falling in Fayetteville, and forecasters say between 2-4 inches of snow and sleet could accumulate throughout the day.
Precipitation is expected to turn to ice and freezing rain at around midnight, with additional accumulation of up to one inch is expected overnight before turning to rain for much of the day on Thursday.
Be careful out there, folks.

Thanks Fly guys! Since it’s snowing I’ve had time to think up some suggestions: Joke of the week column – interview a person a week and get their best joke (idea stolen from some magazine). Also- The Flyer Girls (idea stolen from In Living Colour) – get a FF cheer/dance squad to appear at events, and you guys could rap a little between dance numbers. Members of the Flyer Girls would have to be women, or men in drag. Hope this helps. Continued success,
Good ideas. Thanks Roger.
I wanna be a Flyer Girl! I got dance skrillz.
