News Briefs

A trail extension project at Lake Fayetteville is coming to a close.

Flyer map

Residents can expect to soon have a fully-paved loop around Lake Fayetteville, thanks to a trail extension project that began last summer. The project adds one mile of concrete to the paved 4.5-mile trail circling the lake

Speaking of trails, a new video highlighting recommended rules and best practices for using Fayetteville’s extensive bike and pedestrian trail system was released on YouTube last week.

And speaking of bikes, the Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks will host the 8th annual Highway 71 Classic bicycle ride on Sunday, March 3.

This week’s schedule of public meetings includes the Planning Commission, a Ward 4 meeting, Street Committee and more.

TheatreSquared begins its final run of shows for the critically acclaimed “Sons of the Prophet” on Thursday at Nadine Baum Studios. Here’s our review.
