The Humane Society of the Ozarks has partnered with Walton Arts Center for “Arts for Animals,” a fundraiser and awareness campaign for the humane treatment of animals.

Throughout the month of March, when patrons purchase a ticket to any of this season’s animal-themed performances, Walton Arts Center will donate $1 to the Humane Society of the Ozarks.

The “Arts for Animals” series kicks off on April 6 with Popovich Comedy Pet Theater, a unique pet performance with rescue animals, and ends with the musical mystery, Scooby-Doo Live! in late May.

To order tickets, call the Walton Arts Center box office at 479-443-5600 or visit waltonartscenter.org and use the code GERBIL.

“Arts for Animals” performances

April 6 – Popovich Pet Comedy Theater ($16-$28)

May 3 – Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Live! ($18-$28)

May 12 – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt ($5)

May 22-26 – War Horse ($49-$73)

May 28-29 – Scooby-Doo Live! ($19-$76)

The Humane Society of the Ozarks works to promote the humane treatment of animals through education and advocacy. Programs include low-cost spay/neuter assistance, emergency vet care assistance, shelter/rescue outreach, cruelty prevention, adoption awareness, medical care for animals rescued from abuse/neglect situations and community education. For more information, visit www.hsozarks.org.
